Ontrac Installation Manual

Cell Option: Wire Theft (356901)

356901 - (Ontrac Cell-Wire Theft) -

This option provides remote alarm notification when the span cable

is disconnected.
Verify this option is installed in the unit:

1. All wiring for this option is factory installed.
2. Complete all other option installations before verification.

VERIFICATION

1. Verify the battery, power supply and solar panel are connected to the G2 board.
2.

Shut OFF Main Control Panel disconnect switch.

3. Disconnect the neutral to ground connection below the transformer. Doing this anywhere else the direction

wires and safety wire may have to be removed from the bottom terminal strip in the main control panel to
trigger a theft event of the span cable.

4. Use the

website (user interface) or http://admin.ontracbyreinke.com/field_test,

ontracbyreinke.com

(requires radio number), to verify proper communication.

NOTE: Using the field test website is only required if raw data is needed to verify correct unit

operation or ontracbyreinke.com has not been previously setup.

5. An alarm signifies a span cable theft and the alarm can be sent to an email or text message.
6.

Verify that the main control panel disconnect switch is in the OFF position.

7. Reconnect the neutral to ground connection that was removed in step 2.
8. Verification is complete.
9. Complete all other option verification procedures before leaving the field.
