350975R - (Ontrac Cell-Basic GPS Retro) -
This option adds GPS position to an Ontrac Cell-Base
Unit (350785). This allows remote monitoring of system position.
NOTE: When this option is used the Ontrac Cell-Base Unit must be span mounted at the end-of-system.
See Cell Base Unit section of the manual for remounting if required.
1. Call Dealer Support at (800)947-4868 to complete GPS Setup.
2. Install the GPS module on the Ontrac Board as shown below.
3. Determine the Pivot Center start position in Latitude and Longitude coordinates. This can be
accomplished in the following two ways:
a. Utilize the base setup routine on the G2 board to find the
Latitude and Longitude. See Option 1 below.
Note: This option has to be completed before installing the
unit at the end of the system.
b. Use another device to obtain the coordinates and enter them
in the board by using navigation buttons to the left of the
LCD screen. See Option 2 on next page.
Note: This method may be compromised depending on tool
and method used to obtain the Latitude and
Longitude in decimal degrees.
A. Option 1 Pivot:
a. Power the board using the 12V battery provided.
b. Place the GPS Module over the collector reel.
c. Press Enter twice to enter the Main Menu.
d. Press the Back button until GPS is selected and press Enter twice.
e. Use the Back button to select Local/Onboard and press Enter.
f. Press the Reset button.
g. Repeat steps c and d.
h. Use the Back button to select Base Setup and press Enter. Screen will display- awaiting fix
i. When fixed status is obtained the board will start counting data points down to 0.
j. After 0 is reached you must press Enter to save the pivot center coordinates.
k. Base Setup is complete. The equipment can be mounted at the end-of-system.

Before attempting any service or installation work ensure the Disconnect Switch on the Main
Control Panel is
