Cell Option: Basic GPS (350975)

- Ontrac Cell-Basic GPS: Trac-Antenova Basic GPS Module(P/N 116907)
Verify that GPS module is installed on the Ontrac Board (Fig 1.).

350975 - (Ontrac Cell-Basic GPS) -
This option adds GPS position to an Ontrac Cell-Base Unit
(350785). This allows remote monitoring of system position. When this option is used the Ontrac Cell-
Base Unit must be span mounted at the end-of-system, and can only be used on a Pivot.
1. Verify that all parts match accordingly.
2. The GPS module will come installed to the Ontrac Board (Fig1.)
3. Set the base coordinates. Base setup must be completed before installing
the unit at the end of system.
4. Base setup for Pivot systems:
a. Power the Ontrac board using the 12v battery provided.
b. Place the GPS module over the collector reel.
c. Press Enter twice to enter the main menu.
d. Press the Back button until GPS is selected.
e. Use the Back button to select base setup and press Enter.
f. The LCD will display awaiting fix.
g. When fixed status is obtained the board will start counting data points down to 0.
h. After 0 is reached you must press Enter to save the pivot center coordinates.
i. Base Setup is complete. The equipment can be mounted at the end-of-system.
5. When the base coordinates are known, Ontrac Cell allows Latitude and Longitude to be manually
entered. Contact technical support for further information.
NOTE: LAT/LON format is in Decimal Degrees.
6. Installation of Ontrac Cell-Basic GPS is complete. Install all other options before verifying.

Before attempting any service or installation work ensure the Disconnect Switch
on the Main Control Panel is
