Changing the LAN Duplex Mode
This command determines the LAN interface duplex mode.
config:#
network ethernet <ETH> duplexMode <mode>
Variables:
<ETH> is one of the options --
ethernet, eth1, or eth2, which depends
on your model.
Option
Description
ethernet
(PX3TS)
ETHERNET port of the PX3TS model.
eth1
(PX3TS-iX7)
ETH1 port of the iX7
™
model.
eth2
(PX3TS-iX7)
ETH2 port of the iX7
™
model.
<mode> is one of the modes:
auto, half or full.
Option
Description
auto
The PX3TS selects the optimum transmission
mode through auto-negotiation.
half Half
duplex:
Data is transmitted in one direction (to or from
the PX3TS device) at a time.
full Full
duplex:
Data is transmitted in both directions
simultaneously.
