Selecting Wells using a Sample Names File
The wells to be sampled during the run can be selected using a
Sample Names file. When using a Sample Names file to select the
wells, only wells with an entry in the Sample Names file are
selected for sampling. Use the LabChip GX Touch software,
LabChip GX Reviewer software, Excel, or a LIMS to create the
Sample Names file. The format must match the file format
described in the
LabChip GX Reviewer User Manual
if the file is
created with Excel or a LIMS. Sample Names files that are created
in LabChip GX Touch software (see
) always contain all 96
or 384 wells on the plate. Existing Sample Names files containing
less than 96 or 384 wells can be edited but not created in the
LabChip GX Touch software.
The Sample Names file used to select the samples is a .csv file that
contains one row for each well to be sampled, and does not contain
rows for wells that are not sampled.
Using the Sample Names file in
to select the wells in the
run will select wells A1, A5, A11, A12, B1, B2, F5, and F6 for
sampling.
