Extract Specific Files From Tape
This menu option copies and overwrites selected files from a tape cartridge to the VU-ACD/100 hard
disk. Individual filenames entered must include the full path name as listed on the tape cartridge. Use
this option to restore files backed up using the Complete Backup process, described in Section 2.2.1.

EXTRACTING SPECIFIC FILES FROM TAPE REQUIRES SHUTTING DOWN
ACD MIS PROCESSES. INCOMING DATA WILL BE LOST DURING THE
SHUTDOWN PERIOD.

Do not perform a restore unless absolutely certain of the data on the tape
cartridge. If possible, perform a hard disk backup onto another tape car-
tridge immediately before the restore as a safety precaution.

Tape function is selected.
