When you have completed initial data entries in the Provision Table, do the following:
❏
Initiate an automatic probe of the 5ESS switch to locate and verify
5ESS ACD entities (refer to Section 2.9.4). The probe can last several hours due to
the relatively slow response time of the 5ESS to probe messages.
❏
Use VU-ACD/100 For Windows Recent Change/Verify program to add Teams. Refer to
the VU-ACD/100 For Windows Recent Change/Verify Guide.
❏
Initiate a Switch Initialization via the Maintenance Menu (refer to Section 2.8). This will
make information about new 5ESS ACD entities displayable and reportable
through the VU-ACD/100.
❏
Enter Agent Descriptions in the VU-ACD/100 database. Refer to the VU-ACD/100 User’s
Guide – Host/DOS or the VU-ACD/100 For Windows Configuration Guide.
❏
Use VU-ACD/100 Configuration Menu – User Administration to define ACD MIS users
and establish permissions.
❏
Use VU-ACD/100 For Windows Recent Change/Verify program to do the following:
• Assign 5ESS agents to active Teams (with DAA numbers, if required).
•
Define Call Queues
•
Define Seizure Displays
•
Define Call Classes
•
Assign Service and Emergency queues
