Temp Files – VU-ACD/100 For Windows Remote Terminal
Client-based report generation on VU-ACD/100 For Windows terminals creates temporary files
containing exported data and intermediate reports. Intermediate files are deleted when a report prints
successfully. Otherwise, they remain in the Windows temp directory. To generate reports, the
VU-ACD/100 downloads report database tables to the client. Files may or may not be overwritten
depending on the type of report and refresh rules established to control data requirements.
The user must periodically review and purge unnecessary temp files to prevent excessive disk usage
which may inhibit report generation. Refer to the VU-ACD/100 For Windows Standard Reports Guide
for information on using the Local Data Management feature for purging temporary data files.
