VU-ACD™/100 Maintenance Guide – Host/DOS

5.5.4

MultiLink – Add Nodes

An VU-ACD/100 host equipped with MultiLink may be configured to support up to twenty data streams.
Adding or removing a data link to a DMS-100, 5ESS or InterLink input usually requires upgrading the
VU-ACD/100 security device and modifying node configurations.

Preconfigure and install appropriate datacomm equipment at
the host.

Host Installation Guide

Verify that the host security device will accept an additional
node configuration.  If necessary, update security device via
floppy diskette.  The update increments the number of
supported data links.
