Verify that the host is equipped with sufficient RAM to
handle the additional remote terminal.

Verify that SCO TCP/IP software has been configured on
the VU-ACD/100 host. The host should be equipped with a
Network Interface Card (NIC) and a security device
programmed for one or more LAN Remote Terminals.

The VU-ACD/100 host should be attached to the LAN
media. A media drop should be installed at the remote
terminal site.

Install an NIC supported by the client kit in the remote
terminal. Attach the LAN media to the NIC.

Install Winsock TCP/IP Transport software on the remote
terminal.

and configure the terminal for LAN operation.
Record the Service Number assigned to this
remote terminal for later reference.

remote terminal using the assigned Service Number.
