2.9.5 Audit the 5ESS
The audit tool functions in the same manner as the probe tool, except that the audit is limited to looking
for only those resources currently identified as configured or assigned in the MIS local database. Audit is
used to confirm the existence of currently identified resources. Resources not found in the 5ESS switch
are deleted from the local MIS database. Unassigned numbers in provisioned ranges
will not be probed.

5ESS AUDIT
An audit is performed by querying the switch for all known
resources to verify the resources are still assigned
in the switch. The audit verifies each resource in the
MIS local database and removes from the local MIS
database any not found.
