To detach the covers, remove the bolts and screws shown in the Fig. below.
WARNING
WHEN THE COVERS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FOR THE MAINTENANCE WORK, BE SURE TO RETURN THE COVERS TO
THEIR ORIGINAL POSITIONS USING THE SCREWS AND BOLTS THAT HAVE SECURED THEM.
IF ANY SCREW IS LOST, USE THE SPECIFIED SCREWS AND QUANTITIES TO SECURE THE COVERS WHILE REFERING
TO THE FIG. BELOW.
IF THE COVERS ARE NOT SECURED FIRMLY, NOISE MAY OCUR, THE COVER MAY DROP AND FLY OUT, YOUR HAND
MAY BE ENTANGLED IN THE DRIVE UNIT DURING TEACHING, OR YOUR HAND MAY BE IN CONTACT THE HOT
DRIVE UNIT, CAUSING BURN. TO PREVENT SUCH TROUBLES, STRICTLY OBSERVE THIS CAUTION.
CAUTION
• The Y-axis arm cover cannot be detached or attached unless the Z-axis is moved down to its lower end.
• If any seal loses its strength when detaching the cover, it is recommended to replace it with a new one. If not replaced with a new
one, the dust/drip proof performance or the degree of cleanliness may lower.
• Some seals are affixed. When removing such seal, peel off the adhesive agent and replace the seal with a new one.
