Insert or remove the number card behind the window.
4.
Replace the number-card window:
a) Insert one end of the window in position in the
opening in the alerter bezel.
b) Bend the window outward.
c) Insert the opposite end into position, and release it.
5. Close and lock the terminal.
Replacing the lineswitch PCP
The lineswitch PCP is located on the handset side of the
terminal, beside the keypad PCP. This module is part of the
hookswitch/alerter assembly. The position of the hook-
switch - down when the handset is on-hook, up when the
handset is off-hook - activates this PCP.
1. This procedure assumes you have:
• followed the directions in
Preparing the terminal
for m aintenance
and
Opening the terminal,
and
confirmed that the power has been disconnected.
• removed the PCP assembly bracket as explained
in
Removing the PCP assembly bracket
and put
it in an anti-static bag and set it aside.
