From the front of the housing, remove the ID bezel.
5. On the inside of the terminal, remove the clamp plate
and attached VFD assembly, shown in Figure 7-21.

Remove the window by pushing it inward from the out
side and lifting the window and gasket away from the
terminal.
7. To replace the window, make sure the tab on the gasket
of the new window is positioned to the top right, the
handset side.
Installing an
internal
instruction
card
If there is an internal instruction card, insert it now.
Position the internal instruction card on the window.
Ensure that the notch in the lower edge of the card and
the hole in the tab at the top of the card are properly
located over the corresponding pins.
