Calibration and Calculation Menu (CAL)
This menu allows to adjust level measurements, to adapt analog outputs to fol-
lowing systems and to emulate relay switching events and analog outputs.
Furthermore it is possible to perform a temperature and flow velocity adjustment.
This adjustment should be necessarily carried out after installing the measure-
ment.

Basic Hints on Simulation:
The simulation of NivuChannel outputs will access any following facility areas
without any safety locking measures!
Simulations are allowed to be executed exclusively by NIVUS expert personnel
or by expert companies trained by NIVUS in cooperation with experienced us-
ers.
NIVUS herewith refuse in advance to be responsible for any possible
damage to persons or objects at any extent due to the extremely high risk
of danger and unforeseeable consequences in case of incorrect or faulty
simulation!
The simulation of analog inputs and outputs is allowed to be carried out by spe-
cialist electricians only which have sound knowledge on the control system of
the facility. This requires detailed preparation. It is absolutely necessary to
have a safety person available!
The following system must be set to manual operation mode. Actuators or simi-
lar have to be disabled if possible or have to be functionally restricted in a way
not to cause any damage.
Operate only equipment within your visibility range.
analog Outputs
This parameter allows to simulate the NivuSonic CO output signals. After select-
ing >analog Outputs< the PIN must be entered once again. This ensures to
keep unauthorised persons away from executing simulations during operation.
