You’re attempting to play back
images from a folder on a card
where all the images have
been hidden.
Solution
:
Unhide at least one image in
the current playback folder
using the
Hide image
[sic]
command on the PLAYBACK
menu; alternatively, select all
folders for playback.
File does not
contain
image data.

Usually appears when you’ve
overwritten a file using a
computer. Sometimes appears
when a file is corrupted by the
camera.
Solution
:
try looking
at the image on a computer.
Cannot select
this file.
color LCD
Appears when you attempt to
use the RETOUCH menu
commands on images that
cannot be retouched, usually
because they were taken with
another camera.
Solution
:
make sure you’re using images
taken on the D300.
Check
printer.
color LCD
Appears when you’re using
PictBridge and the printer has
a problem.
Solution
:
check the
printer for problems and clear
them.
Check paper.
color LCD
Appears when you’re using
PictBridge and the printer has
a paper feed problem.
Solution
:
check to make sure
the printer has paper in it, that
the paper feed isn’t jammed,
then select
Continue
