So what are we to conclude from the above? The D300
always does a pretty good job of rendering, even when JPEG
compression is cranked up and you bump ISO values. As you
move to higher compression levels you get a slight contrast
build up. At higher ISO levels you get a fair amount of fine
detail destruction due to the interaction of noise and JPEG
