• Are the lighting sources lighting distinctly different areas of
the scene?
If you are using flash to light the subject and
fluorescent is lighting the background, you can sometimes
use Photoshop’s layering to select the background and
color correct it after the fact. In short: set up the shot so
that you have distinct areas that can be selected and color
corrected.
