3.2.18 External Input/Output Signal Polarity Selection and Filter setting(SIG SET)
While in the STOP mode, the polarity of the external input/output signal can be selected from the SYS
MENU on the J-PAD3.
3.2.18.1
External Input/Output Signal Polarity Selection
With the external input/output signals shown below, the polarity can be set to either a rising or a falling
edge.


1) While in the STOP mode, press MENU to display the
TOP MENU.
2) Use the arrows to select "SYS MENU" from the TOP
MENU and press SET to display the SYS MENU.
3) Use the arrows to select "SIG SET" from the SYS
MENU and press SET to display the SIG SET
sub-menu (Figure3-48).
4) Select the external input/output signal to be set and use the
arrows to select the polarity.
TRIG1 POSI Search for the external trigger signal from the TRIG1 connector on rear
panel by the rising edge
NEGA Search for the external trigger signal from the TRIG 1 connector on rear
panel by the falling edge
TRIG2 CRNTON Search for the external trigger signal from the J3 cable by the rising edge
CRNTOFF Search for the external trigger signal from the J3 cable by the falling edge
EST2 POSI Search for the EST signal from the J3 cable by the rising edge
NEGA Search for the EST signal from the J3 cable by the falling edge
EPO
POSI Output the H level signal during exposure
NEGA Output the L level signal during exposure
