7.2.2 Recording Bit Length
Records as follows with a sensor output of 12 bit (0~4095).
1)
12 bit Records at a sensor output of 12 bit. High image quality.
2) 10 bit Saves the top 10 bit of the 12bit sensor output and does not save
the bottom 2 bit. Standard image quality.
3) 8 bit The top 10 bit (0~1024) are saved as 0~127, 128~255 saved
as 128~191, 256~511 are saved as 192~223 and 512~1023
are saved as 224~255. The image quality is low but the recording
time is extended and the data size is reduced.
7.2.3 Recording Times
The next table shows the recording times by combining the possible recording speeds with preset
settings and the frame sizes. "×" indicates that settings cannot be combined.
(Example: 4GB model, 10 bits, and no segment splitting)
