Emergency Bypass Control Panel
Figure 7-2 shows the connection between the EBCP and the auxiliary port of the MCE, MPCM-
SD, -HD, -HD2, -SDHD:

Figure 7-3 shows the connection between the EBCP and MPCM-MK-SD or -MK-HD aux ports:

Configuration
The MCPM must be configured to allow its GPI inputs to control the emergency bypass relay for
use with the EBCP. The MCPM configuration software lets you specify one of 5 behaviors for each
GPI input. In conjunction with the cabling of figures 7-2 or 7-3, make the following settings:
For GPI2, choose ‘Set Emergency Bypass Relay to Normal’.
For GPI1, choose ‘Set Emergency Bypass Relay to Bypass’.
