5. MCEs

Structure

The preview board contains a 1-channel video processor and up to 4 DVEs. It receives all its sig-
nals from the core.

DVEs are optional. The DVE labeled “D” is required for the squeeze background image (on the
preview bus). A DVE labeled “B” is required for squeeze image 2 (on the preview bus). The DVEs
labeled “A” and “C” are for future expansion.
