image.
●
Tap
LGC R
on the touch screen to change the gain on the right part of the ultrasound
image.
Focal Position/Number/Span
The focal position/number/span is used to tighten up the beam for a specific area and the
focus identified by a red triangle is displayed on the right side of the image.
Focus optimizes the image by increasing the resolution for a specific area.
To adjust the focal position/number/span:
●
Tap the left or right part of
Focus
on the touch screen to decrease or increase the depth
of focal zone(s).
●
Tap the left or right part of
Focal Num
on the touch screen to decrease or increase the
number.
●
Tap the left or right part of
Focal Span
on the touch screen to decrease or increase the
value.
Depth
Depth is used to adjust the distance over which the B-Mode image is anatomized.
To adjust the depth:
●
Rotate the
Depth
knob on the control panel clockwise to increase the depth range of
the 2D image and the size of image is reduced to display the entire ultrasound image.
●
Rotate the
Depth
knob on the control panel anticlockwise to decrease the depth range
of the 2D image and the ultrasound image is magnified.
NOTE:
•
The frame rate varies with the depth.
•
The range of the scanning depth varies with the probe. D (depth) is displayed in
the 2D Image Info area and is represented in unit of cm.
Frequency
The probe is capable of generating a broadband signal with a certain start frequency and
a certain bandwidth. A higher frequency brings about higher resolution and lower
penetration.
To adjust the frequency:
●
Tap the left part of
Frequency
on the touch screen to decrease the value.
●
Tap the right part of
Frequency
on the touch screen to increase the value.
