4D Imaging 

4D imaging enables the display of real time 3D anatomical structures. 

4D imaging can only be performed by compatible volume probes. 4D imaging adds the dimension of 
“movement” to a 3D image by providing continuous, real-time displays of internal organs or fetus. 

3D  imaging  provides  single  frame  images,  while  4D  imaging  provides  continuous,  high  volume 

acquisition of 3D images. 

The following description uses the fetal imaging as an example, the other imaging options are as the 

same.
