1.
QinQ is not enabled
on the port.
Use the show run command to view whether vlan dot1q-
tunnel enable is configured on the port. If not, the QinQ
communication can be performed only when QinQ is enabled
on the ingress port.
2.
QinQ ingress port
does not belong to
out vlan.
If the port is in trunk or hybrid mode, use the show vlan
command view whether QinQ ingress belongs to out vlan. If
not, configure the port to belong to out vlan.
3.
The egress port
mode is wrong or do
not belong to out
vlan.
In the QinQ communication, the egress port must be trunk or
hybrid mode (basic QinQ (only enable vlan dot1q-tunnel
enable and do not configure QinQ entries) can be configured
on the access port) and must tag out vlan. Use the show
command to view whether the vlan status of the egress is
correct. If not correct, configure the port as trunk or hybrid
mode and tag out vlan.
4.
QinQ and flow QINQ
are enabled on the
port at the same
time.
If the flow QINQ and QINQ are enabled on the port at the
same time, it may result in the data disconnection. To configure
QINQ on the port, first delete the flow QINQ configuration of
the port.
Fault 2: QINQ cannot be configured on the port.
Possible Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
1.
The port is the access
port. Configure the
selective QinQ.
SW2(config-port-0/23)#vlan dot1q-tunnel mapping 10 20
port 0/23 mode is not trunk or hybrid
The selective QINQ can be configured only on the trunk or
hybrid port. If the port mode is access, first configure the port
mode as hybrid or trunk for the configuring the selective QinQ.
If the port is access port, modify the port mode and then
configure the selective QinQ.
2.
The port is bound to
QINQ EVC.
Use the show qinq evc command to view whether the port is
bound to qinq evc. For the port that is bound with qinq evc,
you cannot modify the QINQ configuration manually. If you
want to configure the QinQ, first cancel binding qinq evc.
3.
The port is
configured with
frame-tag tpid.
Use the show frame-tag tpid command to view whether the
port is configured with frame-tag tpid. If the port is configured
with QinQ, first delete the frame-tag tpid configuration.
Fault 3: VLAN MAPPING cannot communicate normally.
