the memb
ers are in the active status.
Common Cluster Management
Troubleshooting
Fault
1: Neighbor information cannot be found
Possible
Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
NDSP protocols are
not enabled in all
devices
Use the show run command to check whether the two interconnected
devices have ndsp run configuration information.
The device port is
not up or the
NDSP is not
enabled
Use the show run command to check whether the two interconnected
devices are up and the ndsp protocol is enabled.
Fault 2: Topology collect is incomplete
Possible
Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
The NDSP is not
enabled in the
command switch
or the port
Use the show run command to check the configuration. Use the show
ndsp neighbors command to check the neighbor information. Use the
debug cluster topo packet command to check the status of sending
topology requests.
MCMP protocol is
not enabled in the
switch
Use the show run command to whether the MCMP protocol is enabled in
the switch that is not collected.
The NDSP protocol
is not enabled in
the port of the
upper-level
interconnected
switches.
Use the show run command on the upper-level device to check whether
the NDSP protocol is enabled in the interconnected port. You can also
use the show ndsp neighbors command in this device to check whether
the neighbor information is correct.
The topology of
the switch exceeds
the specified levels
Check the topology of the network with the switch as the root. Check
whether the structure of the device exceeds four levels. The device
cluster beyond four levels cannot be managed, you can create another
cluster.
Topology hello-
time on the
command switch is
too short
On the command switch, set the hello-time to the default value or a
greater value. (config)#cluster topo hello-time ?
<60-300> Hello timer value(default:120 Sec)
Fault 3: The status is incorrect after the member is added
Possible
Reasons
