command is executed manually.
Information 2:
%Warnning: cisco pre-standard
interoperablility should only be
enabled on ports connected to a
bridge that sends cisco pre-standard
bpdus and has the same mst region
configuration. Connecting hubs or
bridges with different mst regional
configuration can cause unexpectly
problems.
Use with CAUTION!
The information is prompted when configuring the
spanning-tree mst cisco pre-standard
interoperability command in the port mode.
When the port receives the BPDU packets of CISCO
Pre-standard after configuring the command and if the
area command and the modification level information
are the same in the packets, the port does not check
the VLAN mapping configuration abstract in the packet,
but directly regards that the peer VLAN mapping
configuration is the same as the local device (that is,
the configurations of the peer and the local devices are
in one domain) and the port works in the PRE-
STANDARD mode. The command can be enabled only
when the peer device connected to the port runs in the
pre-standard mode and the MST area configuration
information is the same as the local device.
If the VLAN mapping configuration of the bridge (send
PRE-STANDARD packets) connected to the port is
different from that of the local bridge or the port is
connected to the HUB share link, configuring the
command on the port may cause some un-expected
problems.
Information 3:
%Alert: Values checking failed, all
them should satisfy the following:
2 * (forward_time-1) >=
max_age >= 2 * (hel1)
The information is prompted if the configured
parameters do not meet the condition when
configuring FORWARD-TIME, MAX-AGE, and HELLO-
TIME parameters.
When configuring the FORWARD-TIME, MAX-AGE, and
HELLO-TIME parameters, the three parameters should
meet the above condition.
