4 6 3 VLAN IP ACL IN
3 7 1 Global IP ACL IN
2 11 1 EVC PORT IN
1 10 0 EVC GLOBAL IN
Fault 6: EVC POLICY applied on the port does not take effect.
Possible Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
The ACL with high priority
first processes the data
flow that is expected to be
controlled.
Check the configuration. Delete the ACL with high priority that
may cause problem. The ACL priority is higher than EVC POLICY.
The priority is not used to manage the permit and deny action
of the packet, but used to process other burst actions. For
example, one object with high priority remarks the packet dot1p
as 3, EVC remark the packet dot1p as 5. At last, process
according to the priority and the dot1p value of the packet is 3,
regardless of the rule configured on the object with lower
priority. You can use the show evc-policy and show acl-
object commands to view the configured rules.
The applied EVC POLICY of
the port exceeds the
maximum value.
For the maximum EVC POLICY quantity applied on the port,
refer to the Cap resource distribution table of the device:
switch#sh cap-resource

Fault 7: The traffic of QoS rate limitation is wrong.
Possible Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
The reference index is L3
bps, not L2 bps.
All rate limitation indexes of QoS are for L2 bps and should
refer to L2 bps statistics to evaluate the QoS rate limitation
traffic.
