All RIP information can be viewed through the debug ip rip events
command.
BGP Troubleshooting
Basic Idea of BGP Troubleshooting
Step 1: BGP uses the TCP connection to create neighbors (port: 179). The
neighbors are not created only between adjacent switching devices;
instead, neighbors can be created between available route switching
devices. Therefore, you should first check whether the route switching
devices for creating neighbors are available.
Step 2: Locate the faulty routing switching device. On the routing
switching device, use the show tool to check the relevant information, for
example, BGP neighbor table and routing table.
Step 3: Through the collected information, you can generally locate the
fault. Then, use the debug tool provided by the system to analyze the
packet interaction to find out the cause of the fault.
