reason why the topology is not collected completely.
Authentication
failed in adding
Use the debug cluster mcmp member packet switch to check the
interaction information when members are added, check whether the
switch is configured with the authentication mode, check whether the
authentication password is correct.
The handshaking
packets cannot be
properly sent and
received for the
network is faulty
Use the debug cluster mcmp member packet switch to check whether
the handshaking packets are correct and to check whether L2 of the
command switch and the member is interconnected
Fault 4: CLI failed to manage connected members
Possible
Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
The number of CLI
management
members reaches
the maximum
connection (2)
On the command switch, use the show cluster mcmp tunnel command to
check whether the number of connecting members in the command
switch shell reaches the maximum (2).
The status of the
member switch is
not active
On the command switch, use the show cluster mcmp member command
to check whether the member is active. If the status is not active, find
the reason.
The tunnel
connection of the
member reaches
the threshold 4
On the command switch, use the show cluster mcmp tunnel command to
check the number of the tunnels created in the member and the
command switch.
The number of
tunnels created in
the command
switch reaches the
threshold 64
On the command switch, use the show cluster mcmp tunnel command to
check the number of created tunnels.
Fault 5: The cluster function failed to upgrade the member switch.
Possible
Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
The space of the
flash in the
command switch is
insufficient
Enter the file system to check whether the free flash space is greater
than the size of the program files
The command
switch failed to
create a tunnel
with the member
Relevant information is printed on the shell of the command switch when
the file is downloaded successfully and transmitted to members. Check
whether the member status is right and whether the number of tunnels
reaches the threshold.
The member
status changes
when the
command switch
transmits program
files to members
In addition, use the show cluster mcmp member command through
telnet to check whether the member status is active.
