Judging Methods and Solutions
1. The voice VLAN function
is not enabled
Use the show command to check whether the voice vlan
function is enabled at the port. If the function is not enabled,
even if it is matched, the packets are forwarded through pvid
instead of voice vlan.
2. The voice vlan
configured at the port is
manual.
Check the mode of the voice vlan configured at the port. If the
mode of the port is manual, the voice vlan and the pvid are the
same. The OUI address will not be matched.
3. The tag packets are sent
at the port.
Check the packets sent to the port through packet capture. If
the tag packets are sent to the port, and the packets are in the
permitted range, the packets at the port are forwarded
according to the vid contained in the tag packets, and the
packets do not travel through voice vlan.

1. The voice vlan is not

The pvid of the port is set to the vid of the voice vlan. But the
voice vlan function of the port is not enabled. As a result, the
packets are forwarded in the voice vlan but the sent packets do
not carry the pvid.
2. The tag packets are
received at the port
Check the packets of the port through packet capture. If the
packets are tag packets, the priority in the packets will not be
replaced and the packets use the priority in the tag header of
the sent packets.

Writing the MAC address
failed
The driver allocates certain amount of MAC addresses to a fixed
MAC-VLAN resource according to certain rule based on the
HASH mode. If the preceding MAC uses up the resources, the
latter MAC cannot be allocated with the MAC-VLAN resource. As
a result, insufficient resource is prompted. Other MAC addresses
that comply with the rule, the MAC-VLAN resource is idle and
thus can be allocated.
When the symptom occurs, you can delete the idle MAC VLAN
configuration.
2. The address is denied for
the ACL or other rule is
enabled
Check the configuration of the port to see whether the ACL or
other port security rule (the rule is not allowed at the port) is
configured
