The behavior of Action varies by limiter.
Limiter
Function
Behavior
N (Non-stored)
Action is executed only when Step is active.
R(overriding Reset) If Step is active, the same actions executed with
the S, SD, DS, or SL Limiter are stopped.
S (Set)
If Step is active, Action is executed until the R
Limiter is executed.
L (time Limited)
The Action will be executed for the set up time
from the time when the Step was activated.
D (time Delayed)
The Action will be executed after the set up time
from the time when the Step was activated.
P (Pulse)
The Action will be executed only for the moment
the Step was activated.
SD (Stored & time
Delay)
The Action will be executed from the set up time
after the Step activation until R Limiter is
executed. If the R Limiter is executed before the
set up time, the Action will not be executed.
DS (time Delayed &
Stored)
The Action will be executed from the set up time
after the Step activation until R Limiter is
executed. If the Step is disabled or R Limiter is
executed before the set up time, the Action will not
be executed.
SL (Stored & time
Limited)
The Action will be executed for the set up time
from the Step activation, and terminated at the
expiration of the set up time or R Limiter
execution.

Time shall be entered in the form; Time * (Time interval).
- Action program can be composed using LD, ST, or SFC.
