Depending on consumption, check the oil supply in the container and top off if necessary.
If the lubricant container is empty, the central chain lubrication system needs to be bled:
•
Top up the reservoir with oil.
•
Remove the container hose (4) of the pump and wait until oil is leaking.
•
Install the hose to the pump again.
•
Open venting screw (3) and actuate the pump manually until oil flows without bubbles out of
the valve block.
Note
Replace filter (2) once a year. First remove, empty and then thoroughly clean the tank (1).
Only then replace filter (2). Do not remove filter (2) if oil is present in the filter.
Note
It must absolutely be ensured that no water or dust can enter the tank (1).
Note
Use recommended oils only!
•
Different types of oil can be used.
•
The viscosity should be similar to 15W40 (cold surrounding SAE 30,
warm surrounding SAE 90).
•
Only use biodegradable and non-toxic oils (for example Fuchs Mineral Oil Plantogear 100 -
N or Castrol Optimol Optileb GT 100).
•
Do not use adhesive oils for chains since these would get stuck inside the system!
