In case of extreme ground conditions, it is possible to additionally adjust the pick-up height via
the chain (2). To do so, the pick-up can either be set one full chain link higher or lower or even
more precisely via the chain keep (1).
Prerequisite
–
The pick-up is raised using the tractor hydraulics.
–
The guide wheels are positioned upwards.
Set the chain (2) identically on the left and right side of the machine:

Hook in the chain (2) either one full chain link higher or lower or hook the desired chain link
in position (I), (II) or (III).

Note
When used in straw, the pick-up should be set as high off the ground as possible.
Use the chain (2) to adjust the pick-up guide wheels in that way that they do not touch the
ground.
Note
If the pick-up is hooked in higher, the height of the drawbar must be adjusted
(see Chapter entitled Start-up “Adapt Drawbar Height”).
