Using the RS232C Interface

Turn off the POWER switch and turn it on again.
The I/F selection and RS232C baudrate are set.
Protocol
The details of the RS232C protocol are listed below. The underlined part indicates the default
setting before shipment from the factory.
Flow control
Use flow control for RS232C communication. DC (device control) codes are used as control
codes.
Transmission/reception may not work correctly through unilateral transmission.
Break signal
The break signal functions as an alternative for the IEEE 488.1 dcl/sdc (Device Clear,
Selected Device Clear) message.
