9.2.29. Error while Opening/Closing the Scan Plane
(Error 243)
This error code will be shown if the control circuit res-
ponsible for opening and closing the Scan Plane (
see
chapter
) has detected a problem. After acknowled-
ging the error message, you should check the mecha-
nism by fully opening and closing the Scan Plane, at least
once If the error occurs again, the service engineer or the
technical support of InoTec GmbH (
see chapter
to be notified.
9.2.30. Imprinter Front Wrong Value
(Error 245)
This error only occurs if the Imprinter Front is active and,
due to a recognition error, one of the counter readings
for this document is changed after the print position of
the Imprinter Front has already been passed. The imprint
on the triggering document must be checked. In case
the triggering document is a patch code, this should be
checked for quality defects and replaced if necessary.
Before anew Scanstart, proceed according to General
Paper Jam Handling (
see chapter
). If this error occurs again, please contact your administrator, to
have the scanner recalibrated.
9.2.31. Export Media Not Found
(Error 246/251/270)
This error is displayed if a USB flash drive cannot be
found or written to, when attempting to export scan
jobs or profiles (
see chapter
), log files (
see chap-
ter
) or scanner information (
see chapter
Please check whether a suitable USB flash drive is plug-
ged into one of the USB2 ports and make sure that it is
neither full nor write-protected.
9.2.32. Import File Not Found
(Error 247)
This error is displayed if you are attempting to import
scan jobs/profiles (
see chapter
), but the USB flash
drive cannot be found or read or there is no file on the
stick that contains exported scan jobs/profiles. Please
check if the USB flash drive is correctly plugged into
one of the USB2 ports and contains an export file with
scan jobs / profiles.
9.2.33. Import File Version Incompatible
(Error 248)
This error is displayed if you are attempting to import
scan jobs or profiles (
see chapter
flash drive contains a file with exported scan jobs or
profiles that are incompatible with the scanner‘s firm-
ware version. In case of doubt, please contact the InoTec
GmbH software support department.
