4.6.4.1.6. Sensor Configuration
This setting will launch two setup screens requi-
red for the configuration of the three ultrasonic
sensors performing Double Feed Detection. On the
Settings
screen, the lowermost field
Number
of Verifications
specifies
how often the sensing
process will be repeated,
in quick succession, in or-
der to avoid false alerts.
Please note that a value of
3 will effectively override
the
Stop at Input
function
(
see chapter
). The upper two fields,
Area Start
and
Area Stop
, define a reference zone along
the direction of paper travel, which is utilized on the
Scope
screen. For each of the three ultrasonic
sensors, the three fields on
the Scope screen specify
if detection will be perfor-
med along the
Full Page

inside or outside the refe-
rence zone specified above

),
or not at all (
Disabled
)

The setting group
Cont-
rol Settings
contains va-
rious machine-specific
settings which massi-
vely influence the scan-
ner’s behavior during
day-to-day operation.
They have been added
in order to create an
optimized work-en-
vironment leading to
maximum efficiency. In
