Beeper
The printer has two beepers that you can configure. The first is the Error Beeper
which sounds when a condition requiring intervention occurs. The second is the
Keys Beeper which sounds when an input key is pressed. You can configure both
beepers from the SETUP main menu item and the PRINTER CONFIGURATION
submenu item.
If you press a key when that key is not accessible, (for example, the printer is
printing) the key press is ignored. However, if the Keys Beeper is configured ON, a
beep sounds every time you press an input key.
Error Beeper
Options
TIMED
The beeper sounds for three minutes or until a key is pressed.
This is the default.
CONTINUOUS
The beeper sounds until the intervention is cleared or any key is
pressed.
OFF
The beeper does not sound.
Keys Beeper
Options
ON
The beeper sounds when a key is pressed (except when the
keyboard appears). This is the default.
OFF
The beeper does not sound when a key is pressed.
Machine Information
Information regarding your specific printer is available for viewing only (read only).
This information is a password-required menu item.
