Status Indicator Lights
Status indicator lights signal the activity of the printer. After the printer is powered
on the status indicator lights provide the following information:
Attention
The Attention indicator light indicates when a condition exists that requires your
attention. The Attention indicator light has three different conditions:

Description
Blinking
A new condition exists that requires attention. The message on
the display shows the condition. Perform the recovery action
listed in Table 7-1 on page 7-19 or press the Enter key to clear
the message. The blinking light goes out when the condition is
corrected.
On (but not
blinking)
One or more unresolved conditions exist but none require
immediate attention. To view any unresolved condition, press the
Scroll Down key while in status mode see “Status Mode” on
page 2-4. You can scroll down to see messages, such as
DEVELOPER MIX:CHANGE SOON. In some cases, you can
delay performing the recovery action for the unresolved condition
(for example, messages indicating that a supply needs to be
changed soon).
Off
There are no conditions that require attention.
