The Keyboard
You can use the keyboard to enter information under some submenu items. Only
those characters that are appropriate for a particular submenu are available to you.
Not all items are available under each submenu. Possible items are:
Letters of the alphabet
Numbers
Symbols
Editing operations
Keyboard - Parts of the Display
When you are using the keyboard, the bottom line of the display contains keyboard
choices. The top line contains your input. Characters selected from the keyboard
line are displayed on the input line.
Accessing the Keyboard
The keyboard appears whenever you press the Enter key on a submenu item that
requires unique input. The keyboard characters and editing operations appear
between < and > symbols on the keyboard line of the display. Only one keyboard
character or editing operation appears at a time. The starting choice on the
keyboard is always <OK>.
Keyboard Order
Only those characters needed for the specific submenu items you select are
displayed. The following figure shows all possible characters and operations in the
order they appear in the keyboard. Not all characters appear in the keyboard for
each submenu item. You can access all characters that do appear by using either
the Scroll Up or Scroll Down key.
