Test Printing

Press Start. The Start lamp lights up and a test pattern is printed.
Note: The test automatically stops after one page of 11 inch (279 mm) form
is printed. To stop printing halfway, press Stop. If you stop printing
halfway, the first line position is then displaced.

Check the print quality with the following test pattern. If print quality is poor,
see Chapter 3, “Problem Determination Procedure.”

Hold down Stop and press Cancel to stop the test.
Note: All characters can be printed in the print test. To print all characters
according to the currently selected emulation mode, after step 3 press STEP FEED
UP or STEP FEED DOWN to show ALL CHARACTER in the lower part of the
message. Then press Start to print all the characters.
