Ribbon Jam Recovery

Remove ribbon dust from the left and right cassette arms and the ribbon
rollers.

Make sure that the form thickness adjustment lever is correctly set according
to 2.9.1, “Adjusting the Print Pressure” on page 2-47.

Note: If the form thickness adjustment lever is not set according to the form
thickness, a ribbon jam might result.

Close the ribbon cassette cover.

Close the set cover.

Press Start. Make sure the Start lamp is lit.

Note

The ribbon can be changed ten times using the same ribbon cassette. If you
use the same ribbon cassette for more than ten ribbons, a jam might occur.
Make sure to change the ribbon cassette promptly.
