Form Jam Recovery

Check the form stand and path.
Ÿ
Open the front door and check if the horizontal position of the form at the
stacker is aligned with the horizontal position of the form at the tractors.
Ÿ
If form dust has accumulated on the form stand or the from path, remove
it with a vacuum cleaner or a brush.
Ÿ
Check if the printed form is folded and stacked normally.

If the form jam sensor surface is dirty, open the left tractor cover and clean it
with a soft cloth.
Note: Shut off sunlight to the form jam sensor by using blinds or drapes.
Otherwise, the sensor detects sunlight as a form jam.

Set the form in the printer. (See 2.6, “Unloading and Setting the Printing
Form” on page 2-18.)

Adjust the print form position. (See 2.9.2, “Adjusting the Vertical Position” on
page 2-49 and 2.9.3, “Adjusting the Horizontal Position” on page 2-50.)

Press Start. Make sure that the Start lamp is lit.
