Setting the Ribbon Cassette

Pull the ribbon cassette toward you to lock it. Then, make sure of the fol-
lowing two points:

The ribbon is set in the front of the ribbon shield (thin metallic plate with
holes).

The arrow marks on the left and right are hidden.

Close the scale cover.

Pull the platen lever toward you and close the platen.

Close the set cover.

The ribbon cassette setting has been then completed.
