Testing the IBM 5400-006 Printer

1.2.7 Testing the IBM 5400-006 Printer

Test printing with the following procedures. Use a 15" wide form.

Connect the power cord to the outlet and set the power switch to the | side.
The power is turned on. See 2.3.1, “Powering On” on page 2-9.

Press Stop and then press Test. The test lamp lights and the following
message is displayed on the LCD:

Press Start. The Start lamp lights and test printing starts.
