Connecting to the Host System

c. Insert the interface cable plug into one of the V-cable receptacles.

(Connect the concave and convex plugs securely.)

d. The plug can be screwed inside. Fasten this screw in the direction of the

arrow shown in the figure to lock the plug to the receptacle.

Fix the interface cable with the cable clamp.

Close the rear door.

Connection to the AS/400 system is complete.

To change the direction that the front or rear door closes, see 2.11, “Changing the
Door Direction.”
