Making Adjustments
2.9.2 Adjusting the Vertical Position
Adjust the vertical position of the form by doing the following:

Press Stop. The Start lamp turns off.

Open the set cover. Turn the form feed knob to adjust the first line of
printing.
Note: To feed the forms backward with the form feed knob, press the platen
open lever backward to open the platen.

Use Step Feed Up and Step Feed Down for fine adjustment.

Each time you press one of the step feed switches, the form moves
about 0.14 mm (1/180 inch).
Ÿ
To continuously feed the form, hold down Form Feed Up.
Note: If the form is fed backward using Form Feed Down, the form
slackens.
To eliminate slack:
a. Push the platen open lever backward, open the front door, and pull the
form from the bottom.
b. Return the platen open lever to the original position and close the front
door.

Close the set cover.
