Host Trace Printing
2.13 Host Trace Printing
The host trace is used to check data to the printer from the host application. Data
and commands sent from the host are printed in hexadecimal notation.
Enter Host Trace Mode

If the Start lamp is on, press Stop to turn it off.

Make sure that the width of the set form is 15 inches. If a different form is
set, replace it with 15 a inch form. (See 2.6, “Unloading and Setting the
Printing Form” on page 2-18.)

While pressing Stop, press Test.

Press Start. The Start lamp lights and the printer can receive host trace
data.

To end host trace, press Stop and then Cancel. The printer returns to the
status set just after the power was turned on.
