Unloading and Setting the Printing Form
2.6.2 Setting the Printing Form
Set the printing form using the following procedures. For details, see: Appendix A,
“Forms Design.”
If the power is off, go to 2.

Press Stop. The Start lamp turns off.

Open the set cover and push the platen open lever backward to release the
platen.
Notes:
a. If you set the form without opening the platen, the form edges will be
damaged, causing form jam and other problems.
b. If you push the platen open lever rightward (open) then backward, it
remains in the all release status. However, when setting the form, do not
set the platen in the all release status, which causes form edges to slip
out.
