Configuring a FASTCNFG File
SPOOLER Keyword
The SPOOLER keyword specifies the name of the Spooler subsystem. If the node
name is not supplied, the default node name for the process executing the command is
substituted. The SPOOLER keyword also can include the specification of the
FASTCNFG attribute to specify a subordinate FASTCNFG file for all the FASTP
network print processes in a Spooler subsystem. For details, see

on page 2-25. Everything that follows a SPOOLER keyword pertains to the Spooler
subsystem specified until another SPOOLER keyword is encountered. The default
Spooler supervisor name is $SPLS. Note that when a FASTCNFG file is converted to a
FASTKCON file, any SPOOLER keywords specified in the FASTCNFG file are ignored
by the FASTKCUT utility.
The SPOOLER keyword has the following syntax:
PROCESS Keyword
The PROCESS keyword specifies the name of a specific FASTP network print
process. If the node name is not supplied, the default node name for the print process
reading the file is substituted. The PROCESS keyword also can include a FASTCNFG
attribute to specify a subordinate FASTCNFG file for the print process. For details, see
FASTCNFG Attribute
on page 2-25. Everything that follows a PROCESS keyword
pertains to the print process specified until another PROCESS keyword is
encountered. Note that when a FASTCNFG file is converted to a FASTKCON file, any
PROCESS keywords specified in the FASTCNFG file are ignored by the FASTKCUT
utility.
